ATLANTA – January 25, 2021 – Cookerly Public Relations, a leading Atlanta-based public relations and marketing agency, today announced the promotions of Anne Carlson and Madeline McGinty to senior account executive. The company also announced Kayla Mackenzie joined the firm’s professional staff and Anna Kate Cartwright is serving as a winter/spring intern.

Anne Carlson
Carlson grew up in Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015, earning a bachelor’s in journalism. With more than four years of professional experience to her credit, she provides support for the agency’s B2B and B2C clients and is taking on greater leadership responsibilities.

Madeline McGinty
A native of Baton Rouge, La., McGinty earned a bachelor’s in public relations from the University of Georgia in 2017. In the new position, her direct interaction with clients has increased as she continues to support the agency’s senior leadership and mentor junior staff. To further her professional development, McGinty has expressed interest in expanding her role in the agency’s new business opportunities.

Kayla Makenzie
Native to Atlanta, Mackenzie joins the agency from eight years in the events industry where she worked on conception, development and execution of a broad range of events from trade shows to major public exhibits. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University with a major in public relations. Her responsibilities at Cookerly include writing press and web materials, conducting media outreach, media monitoring and developing client status reports.

Anna Kate Cartwright
Born and raised in Dallas, Ga., Cartwright recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in advertising. Prior to working at Cookerly, she served for three years as client and personnel relations manager at Washington Farms in Bogart, Ga. She supports the agency across multiple accounts providing media monitoring, research and writing.
