Atlanta PR agency promotes one employee, adds two more
ATLANTA – October 2014 – Cookerly Public Relations, a leading Atlanta-based public relations and marketing communications agency, today announced the promotion of Chris Glazier to account supervisor, as well as the staff additions of account supervisor Rachel Wingard and assistant account executive Andrew Agan.
Glazier, a former magazine editor who joined the Cookerly team in 2010, has become an integral part of the agency’s success. Based on strong writing and media relations skills, his experience in developing integrated, engaging media campaigns has generated tremendous results for clients including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and real estate developer Carter. Additionally, Glazier had an integral role in developing the Georgia Emergency Management Agency’s campaign including the award-winning Ready Georgia mobile app.
Wingard is serving in a similar role at Cookerly, bringing more than eight years of corporate communications and marketing experience to her position. She has developed and executed strategic communications programs for a number of Fortune 500 companies and has earned a reputation for positioning clients as industry thought leaders through the development and promotion of impactful communications materials.
Agan, who has a background in media relations, community engagement and issues management, previously served as Director of Community Relations for the Douglas County District Attorney. Agan graduated from Georgia Southern University, where he began his career as an assistant in the athletic media relations department and served as the public relations contact for a variety of men’s and women’s athletic teams.
