(Summer 2013) Cookerly Public Relations, a leading Atlanta-based public relations and marketing communications agency, today announced the addition of Evan Boyer to its talented team of professionals.
Boyer joins Cookerly as an assistant account executive after interning with its issues management team over the summer. He will work with a variety of clients, providing research, media relations, writing and marketing support.
In May, Boyer graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University, earning a B.A. in communication with a concentration in public relations. During his senior year at NC State, he interned with the marketing department at ChannelAdvisor, a software provider based in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park.
The agency also announced that Mike Mullet, Supervisor of Account Services, has been promoted to director. Mullet joined the agency in 2007 with more than 15 years of experience in public and media relations, including more than a decade of on-camera experience as spokesperson for government agencies in Michigan and Georgia.
At Cookerly, Mullet has focused on writing, producing a variety of high-level collateral and penning client op-eds and bylines that have appeared in the Houston Chronicle, Detroit News, a cover story for Coal People Magazine and numerous others news and trade publications. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
