Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, water skiing, and the beach.
Alejandra Gallegos
A graduate of Emory University, Gallegos holds a joint bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing. Now a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in public relations at the University of Miami, she joins Cookerly with an extensive background in different writing genres. She is passionate about fashion and wellness and enjoys walking the beltline and exploring Atlanta neighborhoods such as West Midtown and the Old Fourth Ward.
Emma McCurley
A rising senior at the University of South Carolina, McCurley plans to graduate with degrees in public relations and business administration. She developed a passion for public relations during an internship with the Autism Academy of South Carolina and refined her social media skills in volunteer service to Camp M.A.T.E.S., a non-profit summer camp for children with learning and developmental disabilities.
Her interests include animals, fitness and good food. As a Georgia native, she has a nose for the best barbecue in town.
“We search far and wide for strong intern candidates and we found three very talented young women with whom we are excited to work this summer,” said Stephen Brown, the agency’s president.
