Atlanta PR agency promotes two employees, adds two more
(ATLANTA – Winter 2014) Cookerly Public Relations, a leading Atlanta-based public relations and marketing communications agency, continues to grow in size and experience with the promotions of Tracy Paden and Sarah Jones, as well as the staff additions of assistant account executives Cortney Johnston and Haley Schwartz.
A valuable member of the Cookerly team since 2003, Paden has been named a senior vice president – a role that allows her to focus on long-term strategic planning and company growth opportunities. With 17 years of experience managing communications campaigns, her strong skills in media relations, writing, social media, tactical planning and marketing have consistently generated top-notch results for clients including Georgia Emergency Management Agency and the Clean Air Campaign.
Jones, now a senior account executive, joined Cookerly in 2012 and quickly earned praise for her ability to build relationships with media and help develop engaging, integrated public relations campaigns. In her new role, she will provide media relations, writing support and strategic counsel for a range of clients including SunTrust, Ashton Woods Homes and Anisa International.
These promotions reflect the agency’s commitment to the growth of its employees as strong leaders and communicators.
“Tracy and Sarah have proven to be tremendous assets to Cookerly, playing a vital role in the company’s success and consistently delivering outstanding work,” said Carol Cookerly, the agency’s president. “With the addition of Cortney and Haley, two talented young professionals, we expand our already skilled and dedicated staff, ultimately ensuring clients will continue to see superior results.”
Johnston and Schwartz will provide writing services, media relations, and social media support for a wide variety of clients in industries including healthcare, finance and construction.
Prior to Cookerly, Johnston – a 2013 University of Alabama graduate – interned at an Atlanta-area marketing & public relations firm. Another University of Alabama alum, Schwartz previously served as the Director of Client Services at BrightWell Talent Solutions and held a marketing and management associate position at ApolloMD.
