SUCCESSFUL FARMING – The battery-powered Fendt e100 Vario compact tractors made their North American debut at World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. The two models include the e017S Standard for general farm use and the e107V Narrow for orchards, vineyards and greenhouses.
Both models are powered by a 100-kWh battery that uses a Type 2 plug for standard AC overnight charging, at up to 22kW, and a CCS plug for fast charging, at up to 80kW. The tractor can fully charge in under five hours.
Benefits of the electric tractor include longer oil change intervals and less maintenance. No emissions also make these tractors well-suited for working in enclosed spaces. Traditional and electrified attachments are supported.
