Cookerly Public Relations Adds to Its Diverse Client Base
(ATLANTA – May 8, 2009) Cookerly Public Relations announces two additions to its client roster, the Secure POS Vendor Alliance (SPVA) and American Trade Products.
The SPVA is a newly formed non-profit founded by payment giants Hypercom, Ingenico and VeriFone. Its mission is to enhance the security of payment solutions, helping to protect cardholder information and defend merchants and acquirers against security breaches.
Cookerly was brought onboard to raise awareness of the SPVA, its mission and its formation; drive membership; and position the SPVA as the leading voice on payment industry standards. The agency was also responsible for coordinating the Las Vegas launch event and subsequent global media relations campaign.
Cookerly was also tapped by American Trade Products to launch Earth Plastic™, a revolutionary 100 percent biodegradable plastic material that can be used to manufacture thousands of plastic products. It’s made from recycled plastic and a proprietary blend of additives that enables it to break down in landfill and compost environments.
The first consumer products made with Earth Plastic™ are a line of paint trays and accessories currently available at Home Depot, select Wal-Mart stores and Sherwin-Williams across the country.
